NAN-Qualifying Models
On this page are all of my models which have qualified for
North American Nationals (NAN). In order for a model to
achieve such an honor, they must place at least first or
second in a class at a NAMHSA- (North American Model
Horse Show Association) approved live show.
Jupiter Drop is a Kathleen Moody "Hearts Afire" resin painted
to a beautiful chestnut semi-leopard appaloosa filly by
Dragonfire Designs. This is her 2003/2004 Halter NAN card
that she was awarded after winning 1st Place in the CM Stock
Foal class at Mid-Ark Model Horse Live in 2002.
Jupiter Drop
was also the CM Foal Champion at this show.
This is Hyperion, a Sarah Rose "Oberon" resin painted to a
beautiful chestnut color by Dragonfire Designs. This is his
2003/2004 Halter NAN card that he was awarded after
winning 2nd Place in the CM Draft class at Mid-Ark Model
Horse Live in 2002.
Zen Candy is an OF Breyer SR "Mosaic". This is his
2003/2004 Halter NAN card which was awarded to him for
winning 2nd Place in the OF Warmblood/ Thoroughbred/
Sporthorse class at Mid-Ark Model Horse Live in 2002.
Here is Zen Candy with a second NAN card (2010/2011) that he
won at Stone Age Live 2009 for taking 2nd Place in the OF
Other Plastic Other Pure/Mix Sport breeds class. As you can
see, this show was double-judged, and the other judge awarded
him 5th Place for the same class.
Amaranto (Spanish: "Unfading") is an OF Breyer SR
"Leandro" resin. Here he is at Stone Age Live with his
2010/2011 Halter NAN card after taking a 2nd and 3rd
placing in the China and OF Resins Spanish class.
Corvinus (Latin: "Raven") is an OF vintage Breyer Fighting
Stallion. Cleaning house at Stone Age Live 2009, this guy
was awarded RESERVE CHAMPION DECORATOR in the
OF Other Plastic Division! This beautiful fellow was
unanimously awarded 1st Place by both judges, and
therefore received TWO Non-Breed Halter NAN cards!
Grimoire de Pepper is an OF Peter Stone SR "Seeker",
an Extreme Factory Custom Ideal Stock Horse. Here he
is with his 2010/2011 NAN card after winning 2nd Place
in the OF Stone Limited Run and OOAK (One of a
Kind) Appaloosa class at Stone Age Live 2009. What is
so impressive about this guy is that he beat out FOUR
other Seekers in this class!
Oscuro (Spanish: "Dark") is an OF Peter Stone SR "Root
Beer", an Extreme Factory Custom Chip Andalusian. As
you can see, he also came home with a 2010/2011 NAN card
after winning 2nd Place in the OF Stone Limited Run and
OOAK Gaited/Spanish breeds class at Stone Age Live 2009.
This is Renaissance Brass, an OF Peter Stone SR Arab
"Pain in the Brass". Both judges apparently liked this
fellow as they both awarded him 2nd Place in the OF
Peter Stone National Show Horse class at Stone Age Live
2009. Because of that, he brought home TWO 2010/2011
NAN cards!
This is Rio Lobo, an OF Breyer SR "Dollor". Here he is
after winning 1st Place in the OF Quarter Horse Stallions
class at Red Dirt Roundup in 2010. He received a blue
ribbon and a 2011/2012 Halter NAN card.
This is Chayton (Sioux: "Falcon"), an OF Breyer
SR Stablemate Mustang stallion. He received 2nd
Place in the OF Mini Mustangs class at Red Dirt
Roundup 2010, qualifying him to also receive a
2011/2012 NAN card.
Altair (Arabic: "Flying Eagle"), is an OF Stone Chips
Arabian SR "Notebook". Not only did he receive 1st
Place in the OF Mini Arabian class at Red Dirt Roundup
2010, which qualified him for NAN in 2011/2012, but he
also received RESERVE CHAMPION OF MINI LIGHT
BREED, and received a custom mini medallion!
Here is Jinniyah, an OF Breyer SR "Make A
Wish" winning 2nd Place in the OF Half-Arabian
class at Red Dirt Roundup 2010. Beneath her red
ribbon is her 2011/2012 NAN card for Halter.
This stunning fellow is Caer Dathal, an OF
Breyer SR "Auld Lang Syne". He won 1st
Place in the OF Other Light Breed class at Red
Dirt Roundup 2010, which qualified him for
NAN in 2011/2012.
Here is Emmalina, an OF Extreme Factory
Custom Stone Trotting Drafter SR "Best Boy".
She took 1st Place in the OF Other European
Draft Breeds class at Red Dirt Roundup 2010.
As you can see, she received a blue ribbon and
a 2011/2012 NAN card.
This cute little guy is Dark Phantom, an OF
Breyer Stablemate Trotting Foal. Small, but
packing a punch, he received 2nd Place in the OF
Mini Light/Gaited Foals class at Red Dirt
Roundup 2010. As you can see, this qualified him
for NAN in 2011/2012.
Penny Cinnamon is an OF Stone SR Arabian
Yearling "Creative Talent". Here she is with her
2011/2012 NAN card and her red ribbon after
winning 2nd Place in the OF Light
Weanling/Yearling class at Red Dirt Roundup 2010.
This is Sunset Aura, an OF Peter Stone First
Edition Ideal Stock Horse, "Pretty Consecutive".
Here he is with his 2011/2012 Non-Breed Halter
NAN card after winning 1st Place in the
Collectability class, OF 1990-1999- Realistic Colors,
at Red Dirt Roundup 2010.
Here we have Bran (Welsh: "Raven") an OF
Stone SR Chips Friesian. As you can see he won
2nd Place and received a 2011/2012 NAN card at
Red Dirt Roundup 2010. The class was for
Collectability- OF Mini 1999-Present-
Non-Realistic Colors.
Here is Zen Candy bringing home the bacon yet again! Are you
keeping count? This is the THIRD time he has qualified for
NAN! Not only that, but he DOUBLE NAN'ED at Red Dirt
Roundup 2010, bringing home TWO 2011/2012 NAN cards, one
Halter and one Non-Halter!
Zen Candy won 2nd Place in OF
Colored Sport Breeds and 1st Place in the
Connoisseur-Realistic Colors class! Just when I thought he
couldn't kick more butt, he received RESERVE CHAMPION
in the Collectability Division and was awarded a custom Pony
Pouch made by Lori Batchelor (one of the judges)! Way to go,
Zenny! :D
This is Blue-Eyed Ben, a custom-painted Horses
2000 porcelain Clydesdale gelding by Dragonfire
Designs. Red Dirt Roundup 2010 was his first live
show and he didn't disappoint! As you can see, he
received a 2011/2012 Halter NAN card for receiving
2nd Place in the CM Clydesdale/Shire class.
And here is Hyperion again, NAN-qualifying for his
second time at Red Dirt Roundup 2010! Here you
can see his 2011/2012 NAN card as well as the red
ribbon he received for placing 2nd in the CM/AR
Mini Percheron/Belgian class.
This fellow, aptly named Blanket Hog, is an OF SR
Breyer "Surprise". Here you can see him pictured
with his 2011/2012 NAN card and his red ribbon, which
he won after placing 2nd in the OF 2000-Present-
Realistic Colors class at Red Dirt Roundup 2010.
And, once again, here's Corvinus,
qualifying for NAN for a SECOND time!
As you can see, he has qualified for
2011/2012 after winning a blue ribbon for
1st Place in the OF 1969 and Earlier-
Non-Realistic Colors class at Red Dirt
Roundup 2010.
Here is my pretty Emmalina, qualifying for
NAN a SECOND time in her show career! This
time she qualified for 2012/2013 after placing
second in the OF Stone OOAK/Limited Run
European Draft class at Stone Age Live 2011!
Here is the handsome Grimoire de Pepper,
also qualifying for NAN a SECOND time! In
this victory,
Pepper took first place in the OF
Stone OOAK/Limited Run Appaloosa class at
Stone Age Live 2011, which qualified him for
NAN in 2012/2013.
This pretty little fellow is Spiritus, an OF Stone
Limited Run Extreme Factory Custom SR Chips
Warmblood, "Ghost". Here he has NAN-qualified
for 2012/2013 after winning first place in the OF
Stone OOAK/Limited Run German Warmblood
class at Stone Age Live 2011!
This is Goldsmith, an OF SR Breyer "Ballylee". As
you can see, he has qualified for NAN in 2012/2013!
Goldsmith placed second in the OF Other Plastic
American/South American Pony Breeds class at
Stone Age Live 2011!
This beautiful gal is Anesidora, an OF Breyer SR
"Pandora". Anesidora received 1st Place in OF
Other Plastic National Show Horse, as well as
RESERVE CHAMPION in the OF Other Plastic
Light/Gaited Division at Stone Age Live 2011!!! As
a result she qualified for NAN in 2012/2013!
Here is Blue-Eyed Ben yet AGAIN qualifying
for NAN! This little custom I did years ago
continues to surprise me! This time, he
received 1st Place in the CM Draft class as
well as CHAMPION CM Draft/Longear at
Stone Age Live 2011!!! These wins qualified
him for NAN in 2012/2013!
Here is Penny Cinnamon qualifying for
NAN for a second time! As you can see,
she received a red ribbon for 2nd Place in
the OF Stone Part Arabian Foals class at
Stone Age Live 2011! For her win, she
qualified for NAN in 2012/2013!
This stunning decorator is an OF Limited Run
Extreme Factory Custom SR Stone Palouse. So far,
that is all I know about this girl (I am still searching
for an identity to this lovely lady I bought in a
warehouse sale!) Her name is
Bonnie Blue, and she
did quite well at Stone Age Live 2011! She received a
Non-Breed Halter NAN card for 2012/2013 when she
received 1st Place in the OF Stone
Sport/Carriage/Spanish Type Decorators class! She
also made me proud when she was also awarded
CHAMPION OF Stone Decorator!!!
Here is a familiar face! It's Corvinus yet again, this
time receiving his FOURTH NAN CARD in his show
career! This time he received 1st Place in the OF
Other Plastic Decorators- Charcoals class at Stone
Age Live 2011, for which he was awarded his
2012/2013 Non-Breed Halter NAN card. Corvinus
wasn't done there, though. He was then awarded
CHAMPION OF Other Plastic Decorator, and then
went on to receive the OVERALL GRAND
CHAMPION DECORATOR award for Stone Age
Live 2011!!! The Stone Pebbles Saddlebred you see
standing next to him was the trophy model given to
Corvinus for him winning Overall Grand Champion
Decorator. This was my first time ever winning a
trophy model!!
This cute critter is a Stone OF Limited
Run Extreme Factory Custom Chips Mule
"Dolly". Her name is
Beam Me Up Spotty
and she did quite well at her first show!
She placed 2nd in the OF Stone
OOAK/Limited Run Longears class, which
qualified her for NAN in 2012/2013.
This pretty gal is an OF Breyer SR "Melange"
that I named
Melusine, after the lady half-elf
of legend. She is the only one of my models
who qualified for NAN at Breyerfest Live 2011,
as it is EXTREMELY large & competitive! As
you can see, she received a 2012/2013 NAN card
from placing 1st in the OF SR Other Pure &
Mixed Sport & Racing Breeds class.
